Full Recipe in Details

  • 3 cups cornflakes, crushed

  • 1 cup melted Norco Butter

  • 3 pink lady apples, diced

  • 1 jar of Three Threes Country Style Apple Sauce

  • 250g ricotta cheese

  • 1 cup shredded Norco Mozzarella

  • Green’s Maple syrup

  • ½ cup pistachios, crushed

  • Preheat the oven to 180C.

  • In a medium bowl combine cornflake crumb and Norco Butter and rub together until most of the cornflakes are coated.

  • Press mixture in the base of an ovenproof pan (approx. 20cm) and up the sides.

  • Spread Three Threes Apple Sauce all over the surface of the kataifi pastry, scatter diced apples and do the same with the ricotta cheese. Top with mozzarella cheese.

  • Bake in the oven for approx. 20 mins or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow it to stand for 5 mins. Flip out onto a serving platter and serve immediately (while hot so cheese remains melted).

  • Top with crushed pistachio and serve with Green’s Maple Syrup on top if required.
